    Hi Kathy

Yes we also do the same daily clean for an infectious room as described by Lauren in email below. On discharge we do the same as per daily clean but include extras like window blinds etc.

    Hi Kathy
We complete a terminal/infectious room clean – same process for anyone in precautions
Given the risk of coughing onto items, I wouldn’t do a lesser clean
    Cheers lauren

    Dear ACIPC members,
I have a query about what room cleaning is required for patients in droplet precautions. What does everyone use for daily room cleaning when the patient is in the room? Do you have a different process for post-discharge room cleaning for droplet precautions?

    Regards
    Kathy
