    Hello Jenny
The Australian Technical Advisory Group on immunisation (ATAGI) and the Australian Immunisation Handbook have principles for timing administration of vaccines, including Covid-19, around surgeries.

    Hello Jenny

Yes the guidelines in most states are now asking people to isolate until the results are known.
To my knowledge Healthcare workers can ask for a rapid test – although this may need to come from the GP – the testing site can also provide a medical certificate.

    Cheers

    Hi all
I have a staff member who is feeling quite well but decided to be tested for COVID-19 at one of the shopping centre testing areas they have set up. She assumed she would have a result within 2 days but has been told it may be up to a week. One of my colleagues has told her she cannot return to work until she has her result – does this sound right to everyone?
Thanks in advance for your expertise and comments

    Hello brains trust

Further information sought on who can give staff the flu vaccination – our nurse immuniser is home isolating and I have the vaccinations to give. Can I appoint a registered nurse to give – or do we need to source a nurse immuniser?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

    Hi Sarah
As far as I am aware the attached is the only info on this so far. I have asked for some more clarification from VICNISS around staff who have had serious reactions to the flu vaccination in the past etc. The advice I have had back is that it is under review by DHHS currently and there is more info to follow.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Team,

Is anyone aware of any written/documented material to enforce the mandatory influenza vaccinations for health care workers in residential aged care facilities in Victoria?
Any help would be much appreciated.
