All of our residents who require slings have their own personally named sling. These are washed weekly on a schedule.
Our falls slings are for anyone who falls who does not use a sling or whose sling is not appropriate. These are washed after each use.
Any sling that is used and soiled is washed immediately.

Can anyone tell me how often hoist slings should be washed, (apart from when they are obviously soiled) ?
