    Hi Joeanne,
Our dialysis clinics don’t clear ESBL or VRE. Patients always managed with
additional contact precautions, though not usually isolated.

    Sincerely
    Carolyn

    Hi
I am curious to know if any hospitals are currently clearing patients with
    ESBL or VRE?

If yes, do you have a local policy? What evidence did you use? Are you
removing the Alert from the electronic medical record?

We are hearing conflicting information at the moment across a number of
hospitals and want to know what the majority are doing.

I am also interested in any issues you have encountered with MRSA
    Clearance regimes as well

    Thanks

    Joe
