Our dialysis clinics don’t clear ESBL or VRE. Patients always managed with
additional contact precautions, though not usually isolated.Sincerely

I am curious to know if any hospitals are currently clearing patients with
ESBL or VRE?If yes, do you have a local policy? What evidence did you use? Are you
removing the Alert from the electronic medical record?We are hearing conflicting information at the moment across a number of
hospitals and want to know what the majority are doing.I am also interested in any issues you have encountered with MRSA
Clearance regimes as wellThanks
