    Dear Australian Colleagues

I am currently working with a major global medical device manufacturer client who is exploring sponsorship of a small delegation of 10-15 senior Chinese key opinion leader clinicians and healthcare administrators to participate in a one-week international exchange program to review patient safety and infection prevention and control in one leading hospital or group in the United States and one in Australia. Specifically I would like to hear from Australian peers if your hospital and Department is genuinely interested and willing to act as a host hospital and if so what the cost per delegate would be to my client for a 5-day visit? I also need to know the maximum number of delegates your hospital would be willing to host?

Please note that I, and depending on size perhaps another member of Infection Control Plus staff would accompany the visiting delegation and be responsible for them during the entire visit. I would also be available to work with your staff in logistics and preparation for the visit including modification of proposed content as needed. I am currently seeking involvement of leading Australian facilities and need responses by 16th May, 2014 or earlier. If you are genuinely interested further detail about the international exchange is available including the proposed 5-day structured program which would require participation of your IP&C and patient safety Departments as well as 1/2 day meeting with senior administrators.

Please email me personally if you are interested.

    Yours sincerely
    Cath
