when to use N95 mask

Hi all
Just after some clarification of the Victorian HHS guidelines on the use of N95 masks. We are not a “designated COVID-19 hospital” and when we recommence elective surgery we will be screening all patients as per the guidelines. From my understanding if the patient is not suspected or know to have COVID-19 staff do not need to wear an N95 mask during AGP’s (i.e. intubation, suctioning) if the procedure is not included in the “specific circumstances”, they only require a surgical mask.
We are meeting with the OR staff today to discuss the guidelines so any comments would be appreciated.
