Hi all,
I need some advice on PPE required by un-vaccinated visitor (due to medical condition) entering into age-care facility during FLU season. Do they require mask ???
Thank you,

09/06/2020 at 4:15 pm #76907Hi Monika,
There are specific guidelines available on the Australian Governments website.
Surgical masks are only required when a person is symptomatic, and in such a case the person will not be allowed to enter the facility. Other precautions should be in place to try and prevent cross contamination, such as social distancing, screening questions and taking temperatures before entry.
