The person appointed to this new leadership position will join a vibrant
and enthusiastic organisation looking to provide wound care and infection
control management of the highest standard. The person would also provide
leadership related to the education and professional development needed to
optimise wound care and infection control across the organisation.****

WMB is committed to resourcing wound care and infection control as required
to achieve the goal of best practice in aged and community care. The new
appointee will be supported to be innovative and creative in rolling out
wound care and infection control initiatives across WMB aged and community
services. The position is located in the Quality and Research team and
while based at Chermside it is expected the person in this position will
travel to all WMB sites.****

The applicant will need a strong track record in wound management and hold
current registration with APRHA. A Masters qualification in wound
management and experience in aged care is preferred but not essential. A
willingness to complete such studies would be viewed favourably. For more
