Dear Colleague,
The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (National Board or NMBA) has updated its:
* Enrolled nurses and medicines administration factsheet [EN Factsheet), and
* Recency of practice FAQ for nurses and midwives.
Please make sure to read these documents as they contain important information.
The EN Factsheet is a significant edit of the Explanatory note: Enrolled nurses and medicine administration, previously published on the National Board website. The Recency of practice FAQ for nurses and midwives provides clarity on recency of practice requirements.
Copies of these updated documents can be accessed from the National Board website in FAQ and Fact Sheets under Codes, Guidelines and Statements.
Please distribute this important information to relevant staff and/or members.
