Dr Peta-Anne Zimmerman (RN, DPH, CICP-E, SFHEA) is an internationally respected clinician, educator, and researcher in infection prevention and control (IPC). Dr Zimmerman’s experience in IPC spans over 20 years and her domestic clinical experience, research, and expertise has led her to work extensively in China, Southeast Asia and throughout both the South and North Pacific. Peta-Anne holds the award of Credentialled Infection Control Professional – Expert, is a Board Director of the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC), ACIPC representative and senior teaching faculty for the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN), and member of the ACIPC Credentialling and Professional Practices (CAPS) and Membership Engagement Committee. Peta-Anne is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and recipient of the prestigious Claire Boardman CICP Medal for Leadership in Infection Prevention and Control.Dr. Greg Whiteley
Dr Greg Whiteley is an Adjunct Fellow in the School of Medicine at Western Sydney University and is the Chairman of Whiteley Corporation, a Therapeutic Goods Manufacturing company based in the Hunter Region. Dr Whiteley holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hawkesbury Agricultural College), a Master of Safety Science (UNSW), a Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (UNE) and a PhD (WSU). Dr Whiteley is the Collaboration Partner Study Director for an iMCRC Grant with the School of Medical Sciences at Sydney University which is investigating Novel Solutions for Biofilm Mediated Infections and other forms of Biofilm Contamination. Dr Whiteley is a consultant to National Infection Control Committee of the Australian Dental Association and is a Fellow of Environmental Health Australia, a Member of the Australian Society of Microbiology and a Member of the Society of Healthcare Epidemiology of America.Registrations close Friday 4th June 2021
