21/10/2022 at 12:18 pm #81455Hello Lincoln
I have always found that eucalyptus oil is very effective for removing
sticky gum residue from surfaces.
It is inexpensive and handy to have a small bottle in a cupboard.( NB sorry I am answering via my personal email,

For surfaces you can try with hot Water
– Scrub the area with small strokes in a back-and-forth motion.
– If the residue still doesnt seem to be lifting after a few minutes, soak
the area in the hot soapy water for up to 20 minutes, and then give it
another scrub.– After the residue is gone, wipe the area dry to remove any last traces of
adhesiveBest
