Hi,
Does anyone have guidance for dirty utility (sluice rooms) in an Older Adult Mental Health self-contained unit? Currently plans for new construction involve access to soiled/dirty utility room and incontinence product storage through a shared room with another unit that is swipe card access only. Are there any guidelines that indicate a soiled dirty and clean utility room should be contained in the unit and not accessible via a swipe card (risk of spills when trying to open door may exist)?
Thank you in advance.
Kindest regards,
