    Hello Brains trust- happy Friday 🙂

    I was Wondering if anyone has had any experience or could advise around storage of orthopaedic consignments (ie instrumentation, implant devices on trolleys) during a refurbishment.

    One of our facility’s here is having its SSD refurbished in the near future and so to enable our surgery to continue the SSD is being relocated to a purpose made temporary mobile unit – to be located next to the hospital..
    Unfortunately there will be no space for storage of items such as the orthopaedic equipment/ implants etc and they are planning to store then in another area that was previously a secure office location nearby to the SSD & OT (but now vacant ) .

    In trying to keep this s high risk sterile stock stored in appropriate condition in this other location I was wondering what others may have done if they had had similar or any advice re managing.

    I am wondering about the mobile room that there are on the market and if this could be an option to set up as a clean zone inside this room to these items ??

    Any thoughts / advice or previous experience responses appreciated
