    Hi All

I find some very useful information from being part of this network group, apologies if this topic has been raised before. As part of our involvement with community participation groups I need some assistance with the following:

    1. Are there any facilities out there that are still using shower curtains in their clinical areas?

    2. If so are they reusable curtains or are you utilising another form of barrier protection in these areas?(Details please)

    3. How often are they being changed?

    4. Another thing that was raised by our community Rep who has recently had an experience with hospital stay is what do other facilities have in place in showers for patients to place their toiletries e.g. over sink shelves etc. whilst in the shower. I was concerned with accidental injuries due to the shelves but this may not be that much of an issue if others have these in use.

I would appreciate your assistance with this, thanks in anticipation.

    Kind Regards
    Verily Thomas
