Shower Curtains

Here at the Royal Hobart Hospital we are moving into the Detailed Design stage of our new 11 Storey in-patient facility. The issue of whether or not to install shower curtains in the ensuite has reared its head. Does anyone have any information/opinion on this topic that they could share as I have been unable to find any guidelines on this topic?
