    Hi

I’m new to the role so thought I’d say hello to everyone. I read the emails everyone sends and find it fascinating.
I just wanted to ask if anyone had an audit tool for simple sharps bin audits on wards and theatres ?.

I could rustle one up in excel but thought someone may have already done it.

I think I need stuff like

Ward, number of bins and whether they are empty, half full or more than full.

    Best Wishes Everyone

I’d first check with your sharps bin supplier. Depending on who supplies your sharps bin’s they may be able to do this for you.
The last time, we had this completed, they had a simple to use app, which took a lot of the leg work out of the whole process. Plus the rep was in a position to provide better advice and supply details than I could. My task following this was to ensure all the areas got a summary of the audit.

    Just my thoughts

    Kind regards
