    Hi Teresa,
    The Victorian answer would be as follows, not sure if it is different in NSW:

    If your patients answer that they have had COVID19 then they will have received a clearance letter from DHHS. The general public would not have been retested to confirm clearance. It would have been decided on symptoms and time elapsed. Only HCW/aged care/support workers are being retested and require 2 x negative tests to be cleared.

    Close contact you would need to know the date of the contact. They need to have 14 days isolation before being about to leave their house and to be cleared. If they developed symptoms in that time then they should have had a screening test, but if they remained symptom free there would have been no requirement for a test.
