    Senior Epidemiologist – Rheumatic Heart Disease Australia

    $121,368 – $139,294 per annum pro rata salary package
    (comprising gross salary $94,852 – $109,373 pro rata, superannuation & salary packaging benefits)
    Part Time (0.5 FTE negotiable) Contract until July 2015

    Menzies School of Health Research (Menzies) manages the National Coordination Unit (RHDAustralia), funded by the Australian Governments Department of Health and Ageing. RHDAustralia works with the States and Territories which have register based RHD control programs and are funded by the Australian Governments ARF Strategy.

    RHDAustralia is instrumental in the review, development, integration and implementation of best practice guidelines and associated education, training and quality improvement resources. RHDAustralia is also responsible for the development of a systematic approach to targeting areas of need and improving care through provision of information systems to support data analysis and reporting.

    This position will work with the Deputy Director and jurisdictional data liaison officer of Rheumatic Heart Disease Australia to develop methods for data collection, analysis and reporting using the Data Collection System.
