Dear members,
Please read below information about resources for Antibiotic Awareness Week, which you may wish to circulate to your networks.

Resources for Antibiotic Awareness Week (AAW) 2015 are available to download from the Commission website http://www.safetyandquality.gov.au/aaw
There is just over one month to go until Antibiotic Awareness Week, which begins on Monday 16 November, 2015. This year is the first time the World Health Organization will endorse World Antibiotic Awareness Week, with the theme “Antibiotics. Handle with Care”. The Commission campaign for 2015 reflects this global theme, and resources have been developed to assist hospitals plan activities for the week. This year, the focus is on the Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Clinical Care Standard.
Resources are available for download from the Commission website http://www.safetyandquality.gov.au/aaw. Additional resources will be made available over the coming weeks.
Resource packs available via link http://www.safetyandquality.gov.au/aaw
The Commission has a limited number of resource packs available by request via the following link on the Commission website. Each pack will include badges and t- shirts displaying the AAW logo, AMS Clinical Care Standard Consumer fact sheets, poster size copies of the AMS Clinical Care Standard for clinicians, and MIND ME prescribing pocket cards. As the number of packs is limited, only one pack per hospital will be available. Packs will be distributed during the first week of November.
