The Commission needs to recruit some clinicians for focus groups for the patient experience project.
If you are interested in participating in one of two focus groups to be run during the weeks of 7 March or 14 March, can you let me know by return email.
The groups will be held by teleconference, will require approximately 75 minutes, and will involve up to 6 participants each. The participants will be asked (1) to discuss what they believe is important for patients to have a positive experience of health care and (2) to assess a list of question items (already developed) and agree on which items are the most actionable and useful for quality improvement purposes.
Participants should:
Be currently working in a ‘front line’ clinical role in a hospital or day procedure service
Have an interest in person-centred care, or at least be amenable to the idea that patient experience is an important element of the quality of health care.
There is a participant information sheet and consent form, and the research already has ethics approval.
Thank you very much for your help in advance.
Kind regards
