    Good Afternoon,

    Can anyone advice below query.

    Does Sterilising Services technician need to wear P2 mask in addition to the full face shield while stripping and sorting reusable medical devices/ instruments used on the suspected COVID patient or possible COVID patients in the surgical procedures.
    Or should we assume all instruments are contaminated with COVID and take all precautionary measures.

    * Long sleeve, full length impervious gown
    * Full face shield
    * Gloves (firm fit, not loose around the wrist)
    * N95/P2 Mask – this must be disposed of and replaced with a new one when it becomes moist

    Regards, Kavitha
