    Hi there,
In our neurophysiology department the technicians use a cap that has the EEG electrodes and leads incorporated into a cap. We are the only site in New Zealand that uses these caps but apparently they are used in Australia and Europe and are distributed by Lifehealthcare. These electrodes require high-level disinfection between patients as they sometimes get contaminated with blood from the scalp. We currently use an endoscope repressor with high level chemical disinfection but we are having to look at any other options. Can I ask if anyone else has these caps and what their method of reprocessing is?

    Cheers

    Ruth
