    Purpose of Position

    To provide high level project management to the CEC in developinginitiatives to sustain the Hand Hygiene program.
    Selection Criteria

    1. Registered nurse or other relevant healthcare professional in the State of NSW. Clinical experience in Infectious Diseases, Infection Control or clinical epidemiology would be an advantage.
    2. Successful track record in project management, including the ability to deliver outcomes within project timeframes and budget. Experience in projects related to behaviour change, infection control or infectious diseases would be an advantage
    3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the program’s Advisory groups and provide executive support as required.
    4. Demonstrated high level computer skills including all Microsoft office applications and understanding about large healthcare databases. Specific direct skills in database management would be an advantage.
    5. Demonstrated experience and commitment to healthcare education.
    6. Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clinical staff, senior managers and external stakeholders including demonstrated ability to work within and across teams.
    7. Understanding of professional subcultures within the health system and demonstrated ability to design and deliver project outcomes that both challenge and balance those competing world views.
    8. Ability and willingness to travel (by road and regional air) within NSW for work purposes and evidence of a current NSW driver’s licence.
    Desirable but not essential for performance of the position
    . A higher academic degree in public health, epidemiology or infectious diseases (e.g. PhD, MD or MPH) would be an advantage.
    . Demonstrated capability and/or interest in research.
