I’ve been following this discussion with interest – my facility is looking at installing new air conditioning in the OR (we do mainly ortho and general). The company installing the air con has said it will take at least 6 weeks for installation and commissioning – I have recommended we need to close the theatres for that time (v popular with the surgeons!!) – I’m presuming the people who have said they plan to run their OR’s on a limited basis have larger areas and would close the whole area when the air con is being installed?
thanks

My Facility is currently planning to close a part of the Operating Theatre down to do some renovations. The hospital executive have asked me to devise an “air quality” program. Can anyone share their experience or steer me in the right direction.
