    Hi All,

I have discovered a small slim metal wall holder (approx. length 175mm) that
I use to display the transmission based precaution poster outside patient
    rooms.

They were originally designed for restaurants in the kitchen to hold up the
order dockets but I discovered them in a small rehabilitation hospital which
was using the longer size holders to display the patients Rehab Programs,
cards etc inside the patient rooms.

We also use them in Staff Rooms for rosters, memos etc.

They are an great alternative to reusable adhesive, velcro, double sided
tape etc & even better, as they are powder coated metal (white) & glass
marbles (inside) they can be very easily cleaned.

When not in use, they blend quite well into the wall & look very
    professional.

One of the advantages is that you can change your posters quite frequently
so people don’t get bored & the hold ups also prevent staff from putting
posters where ever they like as staff are educated that the Hold-Ups are the
only system to be used to display posters. So no more sticky residue.

There are many sizes to choose from, I am not sure about colours.

They are called ‘Hold Ups’ & are Australian Made

I am not sure of any other brand on the market but I am sure there are
    similar brands out there

thicker paper / cardboard, the regular laminated paper posters fall out.

    Cheers

    Morning all,

I asked the question many years ago and the answer I got was that it was
important to pick your battles. Not very scientific but at least it is
fairly low risk and can be thrown away and replaced as required.

    Regards

    Hi,
Does anyone know of any evidence around reusable adhesive(………-a colour
    tac!!)being ‘an infection control risk’?
I was told yesterday of posters being being held up by this commonly used
material being removed because of the risk.
A Google search did bring up a few hits with the words ‘infection control
risk’ and said product being mentioned in the same breath.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

    Kind Regards
