Hi Vanessa
I work in aged care in SA and our manager has approved drink breaks. Essentially in between routine breaks they can get a drink. This requires a mask change as mask cannot be reapplied once removed. This means they may use 5 masks per 8 hour shift, so needs to be planned for when ordering supplies.
Staff are discouraged from sipping on drink bottles but preference to have a glass of water each break.

We have asked for staff to go to break room for a drink. We otherwise have a habit of staff half pulling mask off face to drink water.In this way we have better compliance with safe removal of PPE
