Have you heard of the product Altro Whiterock?

I tried to attach their catalogue but the file was too big.

This product is very good, extremely sturdy. There are similar products on
the market, but this one seems to be the strongest and hardest wearing.

I have just had it installed over very old broken tiles in a main kitchen
for one of my clients and it is brilliant, it can be hit with a sledge
hammer and never breaks and is 100% solid colour so no paint chips!

The install also occurred overnight, so no down time for the kitchen.

I have been told it can go over doors (have not had this done myself yet)
but have been told that it would need some fiddling for the door frames as
the overlaid product makes the doors thicker so the door frames can be a bit
tricky but it would be worth asking.

In the kitchen I where I had it installed, it moulded beautifully into and
around corners.

The product is being used extensively in many hospitals.

The company has many options for walls and floors.

Dear all,

I am wondering if anyone has any information on what type of material could
be utilised within an existing 50 year old operating theatre complex to
cover timber furnishings such as solid theatre doors!

Suggestions have been to shave the existing doors top and bottom and butt up
to the existing intact middle core laminate with a two-pack laminate.

Is there another material out there that could be utilised or sealed over
timber considering timber or exposed timber goes against the AS4187
Standard.

This in light of the fact that the current contractors for maintenance are
very green to renovation work!

Any suggestions would be grateful.
