    Hi Gerald

I am New in post as Regional CNS Infection Prevention and Control and am
keen to join ACIPC Infexion Connexion Forum

Midwest is well resourced with regards to Infection Control
representation; we have Geraldton Regional Hospital with 60 beds with 1
FTE ICN and Regional CNS 1FTE based there. We have several regional
small hospitals ranging 20 + beds, Carnarvon have an Infection Control
Nurse approx 0.6 FTE and the smaller hospitals have either a registered
or enrolled nurse with an Infection Control portfolio assigned to their
role, with regular support and oversight from Regional CNS Infection
    Prevention and Control.

Could ACIPC please forward application details, to enable me to join?

    Kind regards, Suzy Rogers

    Dear all,

I’m keen to know what are the current Infection Control staffing ratios
utilised by hospitals with 300-400 beds (happy for those with more beds
to respond to this as well).

    If you could specify your:

    – number of beds:

    – FTE:

(Does this include an immunisation nurse? Y/N)

(If yes, please specify that FTE: )

I’ve seen various reports specifying ideal IC staff to bed ratios but
would be keen to know what’s actually happening at ground level.

    Thank you.

    Regards,

    Gerald
