You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key attributes. Within the context of the responsibilities described above, the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
1. Demonstrated high level of knowledge of contemporary Infection Prevention and Control (IP&C) practice including sterilising.
2. Demonstrated ability to use Statewide clinical information to facilitate quality improvement initiatives that improve clinical outcomes relating to IP&C including sterilising.
3. Demonstrates the ability to apply contemporary leadership principles and management skills and knowledge in an environment of change.
4. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication, negotiation and problem solving skills including the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.Qualifications/Professional registration/Other requirements
1. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and/or registration as a Registered Nurse with the Queensland Nursing Council, including any necessary endorsements, to be provided to the employing service prior to the commencement of duty.
2. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/ manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.HOW TO APPLY
