    Hi Everyone,

I was hoping that someone from Aged Care / Community could share information on their process for washing pressure bandages. I would like to know what product (just guidance in type of product, as I know we don’t name specific products) is used for washing, how do you wash it (by hand / washing machine)? If you are hand washing, how do you clean the basin / bucket afterwards to prevent possible transmission of organisms as their might be some body fluids in these?

The issue with these bandages are the cost factor and the ones not heavily soiled might get re-used.

If someone would like to share information offline, please contact me via e-mail or phone number.

    Thank you in advance
    Marlize
