Duties
*Apply highly developed knowledge, skills and experience in the
defined field of infection prevention and control to lead and coordinate the
delivery of infection prevention and control services to a broad range of
staff employed in Tasmanian Health Service (THS) – South.*Contribute to the Infection Prevention and Control service within
the THS-South through the coordination of a range of risk management
activities and processes, including surveillance; auditing; education; and
policy, protocol and guideline review.*Provide dedicated specialist support to employees managing patients
with complex healthcare associated infections.This vacancy represents an opportunity for a person with proven interest in
Infection Prevention and Control to take on a permanent position working
within the Royal Hobart Hospital Infection Prevention and Control Unit.This is a day-work position with no on-call. The successful candidate will
be provided with a structured and supported induction process.Please feel free to contact me for further information.
