*Infection Control Coordinator*

*Clinical Nurse Consultant*

*Part-time 32 hpw*

An exciting and challenging opportunity exists for an enthusiastic
Infection Control Coordinator to join our team.

As Infection Control Coordinator you are responsible for ensuring that
infection control practices reflect the relevant national and state
legislative standards and guidelines.

The successful applicant will have the ability to support staff in the
achievement of quality patient outcomes for clients, by providing expert
advice and clinical expertise on infection control matters.

*Essential criteria:*

Registered Nurse with current Practicing Certificate relevant to the
state of employment

Certificate or Diploma in Sterilisation and Infection Control (or
evidence of currently working towards achievement)

Recent experience in an acute hospital as an Infection Control officer

*Desirable criteria:*

Immunisation certificate (or evidence of currently working towards
achievement)

Auditing skills
