Hi,

To handle used linen with heavily contamination, for preventing leakage, we would use plastic bags for collection, storage and transportation. We note, clinical waste bags need to comply with specific requirements, for example ASTM and ISO standards, and its max load is 30kg
ISO 7765-1:1988 “Plastics film and sheeting – Determination of impact resistance by the free-falling dart method – Part 1: Staircase methods” and ISO 6383-2:1983 “Plastics – Film and sheeting – Determination of tear resistance. Part 2: Elmendorf method”. Each bag shall have an impact resistance of at least 165 g and a tear resistance of at least 480 g in both parallel and perpendicular planes with respect to the length of the bag. http://www.hse.gov.uk/cdg/manual/clinical/annex-1.htm

However, the usage of linen bags is not same as clinical waste bags.
In light of this, we would like to know, whether plastic bags used for collection, storage and transportation of used linen with heavily contaminationhave specific requirements.
