Dear Colleagues,
I was wondering thoughts on allowing partners into ultrasound examination
rooms during obstetric ultrasound examinations?
The partners undergo the same COVID-19 screening as all patients.
The size of most US examination rooms would not allow 4sq mtrs of space for
3 people (Sonographer, Patient and Partner)
Our staff have mixed opinions about this process, some staff are happy so
long as the partner is screened, some staff are asking for the partner to
wear a mask and some staff are refusing to allow the partner in.
Thank you in advance,
