    Hi Michael,
Could you please distribute the following information to the ACIPC list on behalf of HHA?

    Many thanks,
    Sal

In addition to the WHO resources distributed with the ACIPC e-newsletter yesterday for the WHO hand hygiene global campaign (5 May 2019), HHA would like to advise that the WHO have now set up a link specifically for Australian organisations to complete both of surveys. This is a great opportunity to perform a gap analysis of your programs and also be involved in this year’s Global campaign! More information about the country specific link from the WHO is attached.

For all Australian organisations wanting to participate please do not use the link provided on the WHO Survey page, please use this link instead https://www.who-ipc-survey.org/?languageen&fromYAEKV58EZ8

Please note below regarding Data use and confidentiality

All data submitted via the WHO online system will be confidential. Some basic demographic information (please see attached for demographics collected) about the facility and the person submitting the data in the online system will be requested for security reasons and to facilitate data cleaning and quality checks. When participating as part of a nationally coordinated approach by the Ministry of Health, all data will be confidentially shared with the national authority. Access to the data will be restricted to a trained research team of which all members have signed a confidentiality agreement. The protocol of this global survey was reviewed by the WHO Headquarters Ethics Review Committee and approved with exemption from ethics review.

All resources for the campaign can be found here – https://www.who.int/infection-prevention/campaigns/clean-hands/5may2019/en/

For information about the two surveys please see here – https://www.who.int/infection-prevention/campaigns/ipc-global-survey-2019/en/.”
