    Dear Colleagues

I have been asked to evaluate some P2/N95 mask that we are looking at
    importing.

Does anyone have a tool that they have used to evaluate respirators?

    Kind regards

    Lori

Hi Lori, the masks/respirators should comply with the AS/NZ 1716? The
manufacturing company should provide that assurance if Australian.
Work Safe do provide various guidelines regarding mask selection. Masks
(N95 or P2s) from other countries will have their own compliance standards,
this link to NIOSH may be useful:
    https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/npptl/respirators/testing/NonNIOSHresults.html
I note they tested non NIOSH approved masks and list the companies? The
filtration efficacy rates are varied, some are really poor.
    Regards Kathryn.
