Over the years I have noticed that many of my clinical peers have only poor quality or low resolution professional headshot images. In my experience it is really important to have a current, high-quality professional image.
Many ACIPC members may be unaware that I have recently completed a three-year Bachelor of Photography and as such have developed skills in portraiture. I will be attending the ACIPC conference in Canberra and I will have my camera and portrait lens with me. If any ACIPC members would like to sit for a short formal portrait I am happy to provide the service to you complimentary. I am assuming that there will be some place with a plain background and reasonable natural light. I also appreciate that many people don’t like having their photo taken however these days with social media, blogs and conference programs it is hard to avoid the need to have a current shot.
Please feel free to email before the conference and I will try to accommodate you. If you do want a head and shoulders shot taken my advice to you is wear plain block colours and avoid excessive jewellery. I am also assuming that this offer does not cause offence or conflict with an of ACIPC’s intent or guidance.
Yours sincerely
Cath
