    Good morning esteemed thinkers,

Has anyone developed a guideline for dealing with PPE breaches/ body fluid exposures in caring for suspect or positive COVID cases?
My anaesthetic lead has suggested that any health care worker exposed, needs to be stood down from work immediately and subject to self-iso for 14 days.
I have suggested there needs to be risk rating and recommended action e.g.-tear in glove, requires hand hygiene and re application of gloves, versus vomit during intubation contaminating HCW mask-action would be to immediately hand over care, doff and irrigate, shower and being treated as a suspect COVID case.

I am keen for a resource that any jurisdiction is using.

    Regards
    Lana Girle
