    The Nurses’ Role in Antimicrobial Stewardship
    Friday 22nd November – Royal Melbourne Hospital 9 – 5
    This workshop will cover the nurse’s role in patient safety, AMS as a multidisciplinary quality improvement initiative, the implementation and management of an antimicrobial stewardship service.

    The course will give participants solid foundational knowledge about antimicrobial stewardship, antibiotic prescribing and microbiology essential for optimal prescribing as well as a framework to assist with developing and implementing an antimicrobial stewardship program tailored to their service’s needs.
