Are you thinking about higher studies? A PhD? Explore this great opportunity.
The National Centre for Antimicrobial Stewardship (NCAS) is a newly established Centre for Research Excellence which will enable collection of data across the animal and human sectors about patterns of antimicrobial consumption, examine new areas of inappropriate use which may contribute to antimicrobial resistance, and provide information about interventions to successfully change prescribing behavior. This data will become essential once the national antimicrobial resistance surveillance programs are established in both animal and human sectors.
Work done by NCAS will significantly inform policy and practice around antimicrobial prescribing in both humans and animals in Australia.
There are several exciting PhD opportunities with National Centre for Antimicrobial Stewardship focusing on either General Practice, Rural and Regional hospitals or Acute care hospitals available now.
For more details please visit the NCAS website
