    MVECs next Clinical Vaccinology Update (CVU) mini Matters of the heart: Myocarditis and pericarditis associated with COVID-19 mRNA vaccination will take in-depth look at an important vaccine safety signal associated with COVID-19 mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna). Our speakers will look at the Australian approach to myocarditis and pericarditis following COVID-19 vaccination, explaining symptoms to watch for, guidance around management, and clinical outcomes and follow-up.

    This session will also look at the current international surveillance data and approach to myocarditis and pericarditis, as well as include a live Q&A panel with experts from the medical, consumer (Heart Foundation) and vaccine safety domains.
