    Morning,

I have been asked to look into the way we are mopping the floors in theater

Currently, we are using the mop head with synthetic blend yarn.
I believe the orderly change the water and head after each room.

Is this the best practice to clean for infection control purpose and was looking for how other hospitals mop their areas.

There was talk about moving over to microfiber mops where you dispose after each use and using a steamer at the end of the day to clean the theater floors.

Question does microfiber mops leave a residual on the floor and are yarn mop heads best?

What is the best way to clean floors?

    Any information will be helpful.
    Kind regards,
    Helen
