    Melbourne Health is seeking a dynamic and passionate person with the skills to manage the Infection Prevention and Surveillance Service. The position is offered on a full time basis.

    The manager will coordinate and be responsible for the delivery of the Infection Prevention and Surveillance (IPSS) program across Melbourne Health. As Manager, IPSS, you will provide day-to-day management of the IPSS team and provide operational and professional leadership and management in relation to infection prevention and control.

    To succeed in this role you should possess:

    *Registered Nurse with Nursing And Midwifery Board of Australia
    *Post-grad qualifications/experience in infection prevention & control in public health
    *Sound infection, prevention, control knowledge, and clinical risk management from a clinical and management perspective
    *Demonstrated management experience and financial management skills
    *Ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary team and key stakeholders
    *Innovative, resourceful, adaptive, committed to quality improvement
    *Proficient in the use of information technology and relevant computer programs
    *High level of reliability and professional conduct and a team oriented approach
