    Dear all,

I am reviewing whether lung function tests (including spirometry) are aerosol generating procedures. The evidence appears inconclusive and I haven’t found reference to lung function tests in the state or national COVID-19 guidelines.

Is anyone aware of guidance/recommendations on whether lung function tests are AGPs?

    What does your organisation do?

    Many thanks,
    Daniela

    Hi Daniela,

My response is yes. The links below refer to droplet infection but we know
that AGP for smaller particle is now a real concern, , especially after the
nebulizer spread infection in hotel quarantine that precipitated the last
    Melbourne lockdown.
