Hi all

As administrator and moderator of this list, need to remind subscribers that the purpose of this list is professional debate and sharing information around the principles and practice of infection prevention and control, and seeking information about this.

If messages are forwarded to the list that are deemed to be a personal attack, and not aligned with the interests of the list, I will return them to the sender with an appropriate comment, and invite them to resubmit the message without such personal comments if they wish. All messages to this list pass through a moderation process before being emailed to all subscribers.

Remember, you always have the option of sending personal messages to the original poster of a message, as their email address will be visible within your email.

Let’s keep the list free from personal attacks and comments, making my life as list moderator easier, and continue to robustly debate principles and practice as professionals, in a professional manner.

There are not many current rules around this list (see https://www.acipc.org.au/Professional-Development/ACIPC-Discussion-List ), and it would be good to keep it that way. Respect for your fellow professionals in a public arena should not be something we have to regulate, I would hope.
