just for those of you interested I am forwarding you this link
the NSW Draft Guideline for Insertion & post
insertion care of Central lines CPG is now available at the ICCMU
website. In addition a training framework for insertion of CVC is also
there.These documents are under review at NSWHealth at this time. They
can be found at this pagehttp://intensivecare.hsnet.nsw.gov.au/state-wide-guidelines
under the Central Line Associated Bacteraemia link.there are also some other interesting work that our ICU collegues from
ICCMU & in NSW are looking at that may be of interest to some of youregards
