PLEASE NOTE: Registered Nurse Level 2 is equivalent to Registered Nurse Grade 4 post EBA implementation on a wage point to point basis.
Duties:- Under the supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager, Infection Control and Prevention Unit, the Clinical Nurse will, in collaboration with clinical units, Nurse Unit Mangers and medical staff support the implementation of established Infection and Control Prevention guidelines across the acute setting.Assists in the provision of an Infection Control Service incorporating the surveillance of healthcare associated infections,maintaining, providing and critically evaluating both quantitative and qualitative data for research, quality improvement and benchmarking purposes.Qualifications or experience which demonstrates knowledge/expertise in the principles of Infection Prevention and Control in the HealthCare setting is essential.Essential Requirements:- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
