Clinical Nurse Specialist 2 – Infection Prevention & Control
Are you looking for a unique opportunity to apply your specialist Infection Prevention Control skills in a boutique sub-acute healthcare setting?
War Memorial Hospital (WMH) is a 3rd Schedule Aged Rehabilitation hospital, situated in Sydney’s eastern suburb of Waverley, owned and operated by Uniting, part of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). We are a specialist aged rehabilitation facility, comprising of a 35 bed in-patient hub, a full range of clinical non-admitted services, several specialist community teams, day centres, with hospital support services including environmental and food services, as well as facilities management.
We have a permanent part-time opportunity (16 hours per week flexible) for a Clinical Nurse Specialist Level 2, to extend themselves to the full scope of the Infection Prevention and Control portfolio, in a small well supported health facility. The role is the site lead and expert in providing IPC oversight and advice to clinical and non-clinical services, including coverage of pre-employment Occupational Screening and Vaccination, alongside the management of any occupational exposures. There is an engaged governance support within WMH and the role is integrated within SESLHD IPC professional networks.
