Although much is known about the diagnosis, treatment and impact on patients
with Clostridium difficile infection (CDI), less is known about the impact
of CDI on the operation of a hospital or a residential aged care facility
(RACF).PharmConsult, an independent specialist hospital consultancy, is conducting
market research into this aspect of CDI.To assist this research, we are seeking to interview infection control
nurses or consultants who have:* experience in CDI in public hospitals, private hospitals and RACFs;
* ideally experience in CDI management across a number of Australian states
and territories; and* knowledge of the impact of CDI on the operation and processes in
hospitals and RACFs.The interview will:
* take no longer than one hour;
* be conduct during October at a time convenient for the interviewee; and
* will be conducted via videoconference (Teams or Zoom).
An honorarium of $200 will be provided to interviewees.
