ACIPC will be running a full day Infection Prevention in Residential Aged Care workshop in Parramatta on June 21 2018.
Registration is open to members and non-members on a first-come-first-served basis.
ACIPC Members: $150

Who should attend?
Health and allied health care professionals and support staff from Residential Care settings. Participants may work in aged care settings or provide home care, or work with disabled clients in group care settings, or the home environment.
Program Learning Outcomes
On completion of this workshop participants will be able to:
Summarise the principles of infection prevention and control as they apply to aged care home settings
Discuss practical application of these principles to aged care practice
Outline the rationale for and elements of safe staff health processes
Discuss the main considerations associated with providing care to residents with specific conditions in relation to infection and prevention and control
